Overview

We created immersive content for an interactive museum experience inside Nakheel Mall in Dubai, as part of the project titled 'The View at Palm Jumeirah.' This project was commissioned by Nakheel Group, the visionary developers behind the iconic Palm Jumeirah—one of the modern wonders of the world. Our work involved conducting interviews, producing films, and designing digital interactive experiences, including a 3D digital tunnel, interactive floors, and an engaging lift experience. The content was meticulously crafted to provide visitors with a deep understanding of how the Palm Jumeirah was built, while offering a live experience of the breathtaking view from the top of Nakheel Mall, showcasing the Palm from above.

3D digital tunnel

We crafted a virtual 3D underwater tunnel, constructing every 3D element like marine life, coral formations, and aquatic plants. The fish species were chosen deliberately, hailing from the precise locale where the Palm Jumeirah stands.

Interactive floor

We designed interactive floor content for a specific area inside the museum, where users will see footsteps projected on the floor. When a user steps on these footprints, an animation begins, depicting sand flowing into water and starting the formation of a palm. Multiple touchpoints are integrated into the experience, and at each touchpoint, the floor continues building the palm. By the end, the complete Palm Jumeirah is formed.

Interactive Floor

We conducted interviews with directors and key individuals involved in the planning of the Palm Jumeirah, capturing their insights and experiences. Additionally, we created animated visual demonstrations to illustrate the history and construction process of the Palm. The content was designed to provide an engaging and informative narrative about this groundbreaking project.

We designed interactive floor content for a specific area inside the museum, where users will see footsteps projected on the floor. When a user steps on these footprints, an animation begins, depicting sand flowing into water and starting the formation of a palm. Multiple touchpoints are integrated into the experience, and at each touchpoint, the floor continues building the palm. By the end, the complete Palm Jumeirah is formed.

Immersive elevator experience

Interactive Floor

We designed an immersive animation for the elevator experience, creating a seamless journey from underwater to the sky. When the elevator is at the ground floor, the animation gives the illusion of being submerged underwater. As the elevator ascends, the animation progresses in sync with its speed and timing, simulating a dynamic transition from beneath the ocean to the open sky. The animation was meticulously crafted to appear realistic, providing users with a truly immersive and captivating experience.
